I was super excited to hit up the Revolt Music Conference in Miami for work.
Most of the events I cover are strictly fun events with celebrities. This event was fun and very, very informative.
The Hip-Hop vs Trump panel was the best! To be honest, I wasn’t initially excited about it. I thought it was going to be an hour of just talking about Trump. This panel was much deeper. They talked race relations and what steps we need to take to make changes.
I even got a chance to speak about the panel for Revolt:
The performances were also great! I got a chance to see French Montana, 21 Savage and Kap G. At the yacht party, 2 Chainz performed which was great because I missed his Atlanta concerts the week before.

I had a great time at the Watch the Throne panel which is about turning celebrities into lifestyle brands. The panelists and moderator were perfect. I got a lot of great advice from this panel on building brands. After all, they had all built the brands of legends like Diddy and new poppin’ rappers like 21 Savage.

The networking in between events was probably the best that I had seen. I watched as up and coming rappers and managers maneuvered through the room, passing out cards, asking for 3 minutes of panelists time. The attendees were on it!! I will say if you go to this conference , be ready to go. You can’t be timid here. This is your time to get in there and really get some advice, make connections, and continue to flourish.
Thanks Revolt for an awesome weekend.
