It’s the summertime and that means I’m getting lazier about my hair. I tend to get a lot of braided styles around this time. Before I headed to Cuba, I knew I wanted to braids for that vacation but to also go to Essence.
My inspiration was Eva Marcelle. Her braids are everything but I couldn’t do that length.
I also wanted the adornments too but I haven’t added them yet. I did buy cowrie shells and beads that I probably will add by Essence Festival.
I searched she hashtag #AtlantaBraids and finally found someone on my side of town for my budget Styles By Yeezy.
I wanted a mix and while Xpressions doesn’t do a true mix of 27 and 613 , she was able to mix them for me which to me created the perfect variation of blondes.
