Have you heard of Serenbe? It’s a quaint community founded by a couple south of Atlanta. I happen to not live far and took a drive to meet up with my friend Cris and her son Avery from JustTheKings.com
I took the 20 minute drive through one lane stretches of roads and through the country and farms to arrive at Serenbe which is in Chattahoochee Hills, GA.
The first time I recall hearing about Serenbe was years ago and I believe it was in the Delta Sky Miles Magazine. I researched and found they had their own everything pretty much. The restaurants source the ingredients for their meals in the local farms, they have a farmers market on the weekends, boutiques, a salon and much more. They even have a very popular playhouse.
I met up with my friend at the Inn at Serenbe where you can stay or host an event. It’s on a farm too so you can see and pet animals throughout the land.
We also stopped by Blue Eyed Daisy for their Friday dinner which was super reasonably priced and you know I had to get some type of baked goods. They had a yummy apricot white chocolate cookie!
They have a couple of fine dining restaurants that have received rave reviews but my budget wasn’t ready for their meals! I will plan to go there when my parents come in town though (so they can pay lol)
I can’t wait to visit during the Fall. I know it’s going to be super nice! Have you checked out Serenbe?
