The Natural, Stunning, Beauty of Black Women

Natural Stunning BeautyThe Black Woman is a natural, stunning, beauty. The bronze glow of your skin and the natural coil of your hair is priceless. You come here with it. It’s not until you begin to believe or are taught, that you need to change what’s naturally beautiful on you.

Getting recognition of any kind as a black women is a feat. However, when it comes to your beauty, there are so many stipulations placed on what you should look like in order to be classified as beautiful, it can be daunting.

How Do You Maintain Your Natural, Stunning, Beauty?

Nutrition

No doubt, what you eat will play a major roll in how well you look and feel. Keeping your colon clean and poop flowing is mandatory. Your skin will tell you a story of just how healthy you are inside. Pimples and skin discoloration can be signs that you need an internal cleanse.

You will also want to drink lots of water, eat plenty of green foods and get plenty of rest. Your body is its own universe. The better you care for it, the better it will serve you and your natural, stunning, beauty will shine through.

Naturally Stunning Black Skin

Your skin is naturally soft as a baby’s bottom. That is, until you start trying all of the products on the shelves in stores. When you find a product that works, and works well, stick with it.

Experimentation is not always a good thing. It can often lead to the wrong product for your skin type. The wrong product mix can lead to dryness, oiliness and breakouts on your skin.  This is true whether it’s for your face or body. And Yes, you should use different products on your face that on your body.

The skin on your face is more delicate and sensitive than the skin on our body. Body skin is made to handle the wearing of fabrics, sitting on chairs and laying in beds. Your feet are for walking on floors and the ground, which means that they have tougher skin than the rest of you.

Because of these skin differences, your face can not handle the ingredients that you would put on your body. Be mindful of ingredients. Shea butters are being added to products for face, body and hair. While this is possible, do not use raw shea butter on your face. It’s too oily and can cause breakouts and blackheads.

Natural Hair Care

Your naturally beautiful hair, you know, the hair you were born with, was all the rage a few years ago. It’s slowly becoming taboo again. Your employers don’t like that you’re looking different from what they perceive as beautiful. Therefore, you’re forced to wear wigs and weave in order to feed yourself and/or your family.

If this is the case, be sure to keep your scalp clean. Allow it to breathe when you come home from work, take your wigs off. If you’ve opted for adding weave, give your scalp a break between sew-ins. Remember, you’re putting someone else’s hair into your hair. You are mixing their energy with your energy.

Because You’re a Natural Stunning Beauty, Black Woman …

You stand heads and shoulders above any other woman on the planet. It’s not just your skin or your hair, there’s an inner essence that you possess that no other woman has. One such expression was written by Maya Angelo in her poem Phenomenal Woman.

Find your confidence natural beauty and wear it like a great pair of shoes. That’s it for this week. As always …
