Ford’s My City 4 Ways Recap + Media Event
Y’all know I love me some Ford. Three of my 4 cars have been a Ford. I was super excited to have been invited by them to attend their media preview for their event series with Essence called “My City Four Ways”. It’s all about food, fashion, music and more.
Kiwi and myself got a chance to go to a cool cooking class to learn how to make some fab light bites for entertaining that happened to be the featured food at the event the next day! This was done by Chef Tanya Chavis of Pretti Plates Catering. From turkey BLTs to vegetarian meatballs (my favorite), she had some great options for everyone’s taste.
We helped make and prepare the cutest appetizers like mini chicken and mashed potatoes drizzled with honey and hot sauce. This made me want to plan to entertain in my house for a dinner party!
At the event the next day, I got to check out the new 2020 Ford Escape which has a new look. I really want to upgrade to an SUV again. I just feel better in a larger car since I am tall. I’m definitely leaning toward a mid-sized SUV like this.
There were several vendors, great music and even some cool photo booth areas.
MC Lyte hosted with Terrence J was well as guest of honors which included local entrepreneurs. I even got a chance to check out Latoya Luckett’s performance and she sounded amazing !
I always enjoy My City Four Ways and this year was no different. Thank you Ford
