The Big Three Weekends In Las Vegas
I remember a couple of years ago hearing that Ice Cube started a basketball league and I always love to hear about Black entrepreneurs starting new ventures. Since then, I have been following the updates, and after skipping their 2020 season, they are back in action with huge sponsors CBS, Monster, Taco Bell, Triller and Microsoft!
How does it differ from the NBA? Instead of 5 on 5, its 3 on 3 and they use a half court instead of a full court.
Who plays in The Big Three? Dope basketball players- many played in the NBA for multiple seasons and some played overseas. This means you are getting quality players, and a quality game!
You will for sure see familiar famous.
There are Two Female Coaches
Nancy Lieberman coaches Power and Lisa Leslie coaches Triplets. I got a chance to interview Lisa Leslie and was so excited! I remember when the WNBA first started and looked up to her! I also got to get her first Greek picture as she was just inducted to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. as an honorary member.
Vegas Was Perfect!
Las Vegas was a great place to have their games. I love to travel to events so traveling to Vegas was perfect because you can see the games during the day and enjoy the nightlife in the evening! It was a WIN-WIN!
Not to mention, you never know who you will see at the Big Three games. Kanye West walked right past me!! Even though I didn’t know who he was… He had on a ski-mask and a puffer coat being incognito. I figured it was a rapper…but had no idea it would be KANYE!
Next Up- New Orleans and The Bahamas
New Orleans is my favorite city IN THE WORLD. They have upcoming games there and then they move to the tournament in the Bahamas! They know how to pick great travel destinations.
