Challenged With Cracked Heels? Here’s a Solution for Your Beautiful Black Feet

Challenged With Cracked Heels? Here's a Solution for Your Beautiful Black Feet

Cracked heels. Has this been your beautiful black feet at the end of summer? You enjoyed every chance you got to wear sandals. Then you noticed that your pretty feet weren’t so pretty. What happened?

You didn’t take time out to go to the salon. Therefore all the dead skin cells began to build up on your feet. Okay, no problem. You said you’d give yourself a quick pedicure and relieve some of the roughness. Didn’t happen. Now it’s almost winter and you’ve got more buildup on your feet.

Does it feel as if you’re walking around with extra weight, all on the bottom of your feet? What’s the solution? You’re not ready to go back into the salon. So it’s time you give yourself a pedicure.

It’s that simple.

How Will You Bring Relief to Cracked Heels and The Rest of Your Feet?

You’re going to treat your feet to a whole lot of love.

5 Steps to Softening Cracked Heels and Bringing Softness to Your Beautiful Black Feet.

Step 1 – Run water in your bath tub. It’s a big space and you can sit on the side of the tub with your feet immersed in water. Your going to give your feet a good cleaning.  No scrubbing … yet. Just a good washing first. I always add a tidbit of dawn dish detergent for this process. It has a way of cutting through sludge.

Once you’ve washed your feet. Release the water from the tub. Rinse out any debris.

Step 2 – Run enough water to cover your feet again. This time you’re going to add Epsom salt and soak your feet for about 20 minutes.

Step 3 – Wet a pumice stone and gently rub it in a circular motion on your heels and under your feet. For the top of your feet, you can use a hand mitt. This allows you to get between your toes as well as on top of them easier. Do this over all of the rough areas and rinse.

Step 4 – Pat your feet dry and apply a body oil or body butter to your now soft skinned feet.

Step 5 – Repeat this process once a week and you’ll see less and less cracked heels.

Keeping Your Beautiful Black Feet Soft and Smooth All Year Long

Cracked heels aren’t just visible in summer months. They actually rear their ugly heads all year long. You’re less likely to think about your feet when it’s cold. All you want to do is keep them warm when you’re out in the cold weather.

You’ve now got the added layer of socks, stockings, closed in shoes and boots. They can cause friction on your feet along with extra layers of dead skin cell buildup caused by the fabric rubbing your skin.

That’s why it’s crucial to treat your feet once a week. When you do this on a weekly basis, you can often make it part of your bath. You can clean your entire body and give extra attention to your feet all in one sitting.

Your feet will love every minute of this treatment.

That’s it for this week. As always …
