The younger daughter of ‘Hello’ singer Lionel Richie, officially tied the knot to Music Executive Elliot Grainge over the weekend in a star-studded ceremony that included celebs such as her sister Necole Richie, Paris Hilton, and Cameron Diaz, all of whom attended with their partners.
Surprisingly, the month of April has always been a significant month for the Newlyweds who first went Instagram official in April 2021 and later became engaged during a trip to Hawaii in April 2022. It felt intentional for the two love birds to fully commit to each other this April, and with everything in full bloom, you could certainly see the love in the air.
When it came to Sofia’s stunning and glamorous gowns, think C-H-A-N-E-L. That’s right, Sofia wore three different Chanel gowns during her rehearsal dinner, wedding and afterparty. A girl could only dream!
Each Chanel dress had an array of delicate details including lace, sequins, sheer and hand beading, that were complimentary to perfect hemlines. Sofia had a lot of input in customizing her actual wedding gown as she always envisioned herself wearing a halter gown with a long train which Chanel definitely delivered on.
In this video you can hear the excitement in Sofia’s voice during her dress fitting. She states, “I really think Elliot is going to love it, he’s honestly my biggest cheerleader when it comes to anything I wear,” expressed Richie. Even a blind-person could see how drop dead gorgeous Sofia looked.

For Sofia’s rehearsal, she opted for a high neck sheer beaded Chanel gown with a soft glam and her hair pulled back in a tight bun. Giving goddess vibes, she kept jewelry to a minimal with diamond earrings that glistened against her hazel eyes.
In addition, for Sofia Richie finale look she took a page out of Chanel’s 1993 archived book with a infamous dress inspired by Claudia Schiffer ’93 runway look. Simple yet elegant with Chanel’s signature flower centered at the bust, the mini dress was aesthetically pleasing on Richie who looked strikingly beautiful as she twirled around.
