Full Body Treatments for Beautiful Black Skin

Body treatments - Beautiful Black SkinWhen’s the last time you gave yourself a series of full body treatments? Especially for those of you that are maturing. Let’s face it, all of you in some form or fashion are maturing, and the signs of “aging” don’t stop at your chin.

What does that mean? Young or old, your thighs, belly and hips are showing wrinkles, cellulite, stretch marks and graters at some point in time. By the way stretch marks don’t always come from bearing children.

Most of these challenges actually represent the way your skin handles extreme tension. You’ll see these changes during weight loss, weight gain and pregnancies. Otherwise, your skin would completely rip apart. So what does a girl need?

Moisturizers and Exfoliants For Full Body Treatments

If your world were perfect, you’d wake up with smooth, soft, silky skin every morning. However, since most of us have to work at it, lets take a look at certain ingredients to help move your skin in the direction you’d like to see it. Full body treatments once a week can help you get the skin you seek.

Exfoliants are the perfect product for removing dead skin cell buildup and hydrating your skin. One of the best ingredients I’ve found is jojoba wax beads. They are gentle enough to exfoliate your skin, yet provide you with the perfect soft to the touch skin. The wax beads often dissolve as the rubbing creates a gentle friction and melts into your skin.

When paired with turbinado sugar, fine dead sea salt and olive oil, you’ve got the perfect exfoliant that will multi-task as an exfoliator and moisturizer for your body.

Another exfoliant that you have access to on a daily basis is coffee grinds. Coffee grinds, coconut oil and raw sugar have been used is cellulite treatments for years. The caffeine found in the coffee scrubs help increase blood flow and have been known to reduce the appearance of cellulite and give your skin an even tone.

Shea Butter is an old and staple friend when it comes to moisturizing and locking in moisture. Often used to take care of dry skin, it also helps protect the natural oils in your skin.

One of the natural properties of Shea butter is that is anti inflammatory. This is a big deal since inflammation can often cause skin mutations. It also has been known to work well on acne challenged skin. This is a great ingredient for the neck down.

Body Oils are another way of moisturizing your skin from the neck down. A combination of vegetable oils, also referred to as carrier, paired with essential oils are a great way to keep your skin feeling soft and smooth.

Jojoba, grape seed, olive, almond and safflower oils are great oils to use as the foundation of a body oil blend. It’s not necessary to use them all in one product, two or three at a time will work as the perfect carrier for essential oil that can be used for specific challenges you might be having on your skin. Sooo, what do you do now?

Experiment and Have Some Fun!

These ingredients and treatments are a perfect way to experiment and test for results. Come on now, you spend countless hours and money on skin care regimens for your face, why not show a little love for the rest of your body.

That’s it for this week. As always …
